Variety: Pinot Blanc, Riesling, Pinot Gris, Pinot Noir
This is a family-run winery in Alsace that’s been going still for 200 years and 11 generations. Here the farming is organic and biodynamic aiming for fruit that’s high in quality. The local wildlife has made the farm and its surroundings a home for themselves, which only balances the health of the vineyards. In the cellar, while intervention is minimal, winemaking takes its time as there is no rush to make a wine of true quality.
As noted by the bottle name ‘Zero,’ the wine has no added sugar. Made in the Champagne method, though distinctly Alsatian, this wine is aged in barrels for one year adding richness while Pinot Blanc and Riesling give the cremant its aromatics.
