Each plot was harvested and fermented and initially aged separately. After a year the wine was blended and further aged in concrete tanks and a large wooden cask (Foudre).
Tasting NotesAlma Scarlet is a wine showing rich earthy characteristics of leather and liquorice with underlying floral notes and wild raspberries. The wine has good body with a rich silky finish.
