Camp North Coast Merlot 2024

Camp is Kenny Likitprakong’s everyday line at Hobo Wine Company, built on certified organic North Coast fruit, native yeast fermentations, and a no-additives policy in the cellar. Merlot is one of the more underrated grapes in the lineup, and Kenny treats it with respect: stainless fermentation, neutral oak aging, and a light touch overall. The result is a soft, plummy red that reminds you why this variety was beloved in the first place, before bigger, oakier styles took over. It’s a Tuesday-night Merlot in the best possible sense, friendly enough to drink without thinking but well made enough to take seriously.
