Winemaker Notes: Bigarrure 2020 is made from direct-pressed Riesling which is blended with whole bunch fermented Pinot Gris. On the nose, it’s a real aromatic affair almost similar to the smell of mead, a mixture of honey and beeswax, with some heavy green herbs. It’s festive, round, greedy, with a slightly unctuous side balanced by perfect acidity and foamy bubbles.
